On the occasion of the 2017’s World Convention, Eduniversal – a French company leader in high education information – has chosen the Langpros team to provide simultaneous interpreting services and equipment over the course of the 4 days convention.
Every year, Eduniversal host their flagship event in a different geographical zone to highlight the richness and diversity of higher education around the world, bringing together the most outstanding institutions and delegates in the field.
With 20.5% of the federal budget spent on education and – according to the United Nations Development Program – a 93.8% literacy rate, the United Arab Emirates were selected to host the 10th Eduniversal anniversary.
The event took place at the American University in Dubai from the 8th till the 12th of November 2017 and was held to discuss thoroughly the importance of education worldwide, with a special focus on trends in Higher education (including the consolidation of higher education in the UAE), recruitment and digitalization, school branding, alumni networking and quality improvement in education.
A Professional Simultaneous Interpreter was selected for the job and was required to provide French to English translation of panel sessions, talks and discussions. The experienced professional allowed the broad audience to listen to speeches and presentations, translating in real time.
We also provided our Bosch conference equipment including booth, receivers, and headsets for 150 people, and one of our skilled technicians remained on-hand throughout the entire event to prevent any technical difficulties from occurring.
