In the month of November 2019, the Ministry of Education held several training sessions for teachers from different institutions. These seminars were organized by GEMS Education with the aim of improving the way institutions teach ‘Moral Education’.
Moral Education
Moral Education is an initiative launched under the directive of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces. The program was conceived for promoting “universal values”, including the culture of the United Arab Emirates.
The main focus of the series of training sessions was on Moral Education. The training was held in pursuance of improving the teaching standard of each institution concerning this theme.
As the Minister of State for Public Education, Ms. Jameela AL Muhairi, pointed out, the Moral Education initiative “builds the Emirati identity on good values, ethics, and behaviors, deepening the global and positive concept of citizenship.”
The program included classroom trainings, workshops and comprehensive guidelines to be used by teachers from all around the Emirates to imparting knowledge about the importance of Moral Education.
