What did the Langpros team do there?
No official competition was held on language skills, but due to the participation of about 1300 competitors from over 60 countries, communication challenges were on the agenda every day.
For this reason, The Langpros Team of professionals was chosen to provide consecutive interpreting services for the entire duration of the event, with 14 experienced language mediators side by side to the young competitors and their teachers in the 51 different disciplines to facilitate communications with judges and experts across different skills in the competition.
Interpreters were directly involved in the competitions, playing a key role in supporting the students during their performances, translating questions and answers on technical aspects of the tasks to be completed, general rules and all messages to be conveyed to the participants and vice versa.
The Mediators assigned to the different teams have been working passionately, using their expertise and preparation to discuss a wide range of specific and highly technical topics such as cooking and patisserie, automobile technology, manufacturing, graphics and web design, beauty and much more.
