As it’s widely known, oil and gas represent one of the core elements of the UAE national economy.

Since the opening of the first oil fields in the 60’s, this economic sector has completely replaced such traditional activities as pearl fishing, date palm plantations, and fishery – radically changing the destiny of the country.

Oil revenues have been “fueling” a booming economy, boosting the rapid development of infrastructures and society, and incredibly improving the living standard of the UAE citizens. It’s not by chance that Dubai has become one of the greatest business hubs in the world and a symbol of luxury and modernism.

The United Arab Emirates possesses one of the largest shares of the world’s oil reserves (nearly 10% – and currently, about 68 million barrels of “black gold” is annually produced in Dubai) and this sector accounts for the majority of the exports, also attracting a wide number of foreign investors.

Langpros at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference
The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) is the world’s most influential Oil and Gas event, bringing together oil and gas professionals from all over the world.

That’s where Langpros comes into play.

Starting on 13 November, the four-day event took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan – President of The United Arab Emirates.

In collaboration with the Italian Trade Promotion Agency, we offered our interpreting services to the Italian companies taking part in the exhibition providing professional language mediators, who translated in Italian, English, Russian and Arabic, helping the Italian businessmen communicate effectively during the meetings.
Our interpreters provided language assistance in the form of liaison interpreting, which is the best option for small business meetings and business negotiations taking place during such international exhibitions.

The UAE is synonymous with business and it continues to attract dynamic foreign investors thanks to the country’s impressive economic growth. This is why we at Langpros will be pleased to continue supporting all those Italian companies willing to expand their business in this country, providing language assistance during meetings, exhibitions or business events.

Facts and figures

ADIPEC is the largest oil and gas exhibition and conference in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the MENA region attracting:

– 100,000+ trade professionals across the world
– 25 country pavilions
– more than 2,000 exhibiting companies from 135 countries around the world
– 72 Italian exhibitors and over 100 Italian companies participating to the event
