Business France is a national agency supporting the international development of the French economy which is responsible for fostering export growth of French businesses.
On the 10th and 11th of September 2019, Business France held a conference in Abu Dhabi with the aim of promoting French SMEs working in the CBRN field.
Langpros enabled the event by offering simultaneous interpretation services, as well as the equipment and technical support, and the translation of the event’s flyers.
What is CBRN?
CBRN stands for Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Nuclear.
What happens if a nuclear attack is launched in my area? How will I survive a nuclear attack? These are the fears of many when a discussion concerning weapons of mass destruction comes up.
CBRN Specialists are responsible for defending a country or a group of civilians against the threat of CBRN weapons and weapons of Mass Destruction.
The event commenced with an opening note by the French Ambassador. Then the General Head of Chemical Defense of the UAE Armed Forces delivered a speech in support of the event. Many remarkable speakers have followed through, delivering important speeches and promoting international defense and safety measures.
Langpros’ Interpreting Team was chosen by Business France to provide simultaneous interpreting services, breaking language barriers in order to enable the event and promote the exchange of know-how.
Simultaneous Interpretation for Business Conferences
The importance that this event carries shows the need for accuracy, professionalism, and experience from interpreters and service provider, as the technical terms used in the conference are not from your usual day to day vocabulary.
Hence, Business France chose Langpros as the language service provider since our proven track record shows professionalism, accuracy, and above satisfactory feedbacks.
We took care of every language aspect concerning the event, from French-Arabic translation of the flyers, to French–Arabic simultaneous interpretation and the installation of soundproof booths, infrared transmitters, and wireless headsets.
