IRF World Meeting & Exhibition in Dubai

IRF Will Be Held from The 7th To The 10th Of November, A Pillar for Mobility and Innovation

IRF World Meeting Dubai

The International Road Federation’s World Meeting & Exhibition is one of the world’s most important events, whose inception dates back as far as 1952.

Known by the acronym IRF, the event was originally held in Washington, D.C., marking a milestone for innovation in the mobility and transportation industry.

This year, from the 7th to the 10th of November 2021, the 18th edition of the event will be held in the city of Dubai, the most iconic landmark when it comes to innovation.

IRF goals

IRF has one goal: to become an international hub for showing the world everything that can be improved in the transportation industry. The summit will involve both stakeholders and top companies in the market, as well as investors ready to learn about the new frontiers of mobility.

Highway Agency & Municipal Staff, Construction Contractors, Engineers, Managers, Equipment Manufacturers, Suppliers, Transport Research Institutes and many more will be in attendance.

In addition, energy-efficient infrastructures will be shown, as well as new solutions to improve safety on any level. The most interesting thing, however, is the development of roads and streets to be used for autonomous vehicles, which are able to move without anyone at the steering wheel.

Program and speakers

On each day of the event, there will be numerous occasions in which speakers will present their new mobility solutions, stimulating debate and discussion on the subject.

Among the featured speakers will be important figures such as H.E. Mattar Al-Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai Roads & Transport Authority. These will be followed by Patrick Sanke, CEO & president of IRF Global and Maitha bin Adai, CEO of Dubai Roads & Transport Authority.

Some of the most important topics that will be covered during the event include:

Each of these, as one might expect, is focused on making mobility even more efficient, without, however, sacrificing individual safety and respect for climate and environment. The approach, on the other hand, is increasingly Smart, just like Dubai is.

How to join the event?

Those wishing to attend the event will be required to pay a flat fee based on their role and subscription to IRF. IRF members are eligible for a reduced fee, while regular fees range from $120 for the Gala Dinner to $700 for speakers.

Groups of 4 or more from the same organization, on the other hand, are entitled to a 25% discount. The event will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center, and it is possible to register from here.
