Google Business Profile represents the perfect tool for smart management of your business. It is the new version of Google My Business, a system designed for owners of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as large corporations, who want to get their name featured online and on every channel managed by Google.

As of July now, Google Business Profile allows business owners to change their settings without necessarily having to access their profile from their computer.

In addition, you can set up and verify your profile to make it appear in users’ Google searches. If, for example, you own a “restaurant in Dubai ” and you configure the Google Business Profile correctly, users will see you among their search results.

As you can easily guess, the reachable user base is significantly higher than before. 

What is the price of opening a Google Business Profile?

Opening a Google Business Profile is totally free. Just create one and manage it through Google Search or Google Maps, reaching your customers right away. 

It doesn’t matter if your business doesn’t have an actual physical address. The only constraint is to have direct contact with people, according to one of the following criteria:

  • you own a physical location where you dispense your service or sell a product;
  • your service is performed at someone else’s home (e.g., plumber or electrician).

Once the profile is opened, Google will verify the authenticity of the information so as to confirm that you are the rightful owner of the business. 

Benefits of opening a Google Business Profile

There are several advantages in opening a Google Business Profile, especially if you are going to implement a localization strategy.

In this way, in fact, the user could reach you even without ever having heard of you, just because he/she is in the same city as you or at least nearby.

In addition, the user-friendliness of profile management saves a great deal of time and streamlines processes, contributing to greater efficiency in your business. 

Among other things, you can respond to your customers’ reviews, showing that you are present entrepreneurs who actually read the feedback. 

Last but not least, the power to be able to correct the information found online allows you to be as clear and transparent as possible, thus distinguishing yourself from those businesses that fail to keep their customers up to date.
